
White Tara retreat with Lama Zangmo from Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, NY.

Lama Zangmo is a student of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche as well as one of the retreat masters in Karme Ling, having completed three traditional 3 ½ year retreats herself.
About the practice
White Tara is the feminine embodiment of enlightened activity and wisdom associated with long life and the removal of obstacles. The practice of White Tara, also known as the Wish Fulfilling Wheel, is one of the main practices of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. It was composed by the all-knowing Tai Situ Tenpai Ningzhi.
To participate in the retreat, you must have taken refuge and have the empowerment of White Tara.

12:00 – 14:00 | Lunch break |
14:00 – 16:00 | White Tara practice – 2nd session, short Mahakala practice, and Sur |
There will be a short Riwo Sangchö (Sang) practice at the beginning of the first session
A short tsok offering will be held on the last day of the retreat
